Where Are You Going

On the road not paved…
Good intentions could be lost,
In darkness, twists and turns…
Overgrowth heavy, blurred by ferns,
But on this beautiful sunny day,
Grasp wonder before it slips away…
Committing it’s beauty to memory,
Recalling moments cherished tomorrow,
Such splendor allows no sorrow,
Where it seems trees touch the sky,
To follow the path, one must try,
As with all things worthwhile…
The journey is worth the trials.
